Tell us about your role at GIDS

I gather information by giving questionnaires to children/adolescents and parents. This helps us to understand gender in a broader context, such as characteristics of gender dysphoria, and how gender is being lived in 2016 and how gender is changing through time. I also assist on various research projects, some of which are presented at international conferences.

What was your previous experience?

Whilst studying for my Masters degree in Social Research, I volunteered at a charity teaching literacy skills to students at various levels learning English as a foreign language. I have also previously held administrative roles within GIDS.

What is your favourite animal? Do you have any pets, and if so what are they?

I love cats and have a big fluffy cat called Errol!
