We know that young people are experiencing uncertainty about the future of care at the moment. There is also currently a great deal of unsupportive coverage about trans lives in the media and online. Many young people and their families are experiencing particular distress and sadly in some cases hostility at the moment. We have gathered some sources of support below.

There are many support groups locally and nationally for LGBTQI+ young people, and new organisation are being established all the time. The Gender Identity Research and Education Society (GIRES) runs ‘Tranzwiki’, an online database of these groups. Visit the Tranzwiki website.
