Watch advice videos from young people at GIDS

Hear tips from young people on coming out, navigating school, names and pronouns, and how they felt before coming to see us at GIDS.

Some of the young people who attend our gender identity development service (GIDS) have been working with a local social enterprise. Together they have produced a series of short videos where they share their experiences of being trans and gender diverse, and of using our services.

Our young people led the design sessions around what topics to cover, then our collaborators at the social enterprise filmed them as their shared their insights.

We’d like to say a huge ‘THANK YOU!’ to all the young people who were involved in creating these videos.
